I have received a family tree from Kim Attrill in Australia ( attrill@netwit.net.au.) You can access it by downloading the MS Word file HERE. She notes that: "You will see by the tree attached that the two ATTRILL brothers who sailed to Australia were Daniel and George in 1838." Her Family Tree starts with James and Sarah - Mid 1700's at Whitwell on the Isle of Wight.

I have recently received a Family Tree from David Attrill  ( featherbrain@hotmail.com )at Castlereagh in NSW. He was born in Surrey UK  and has traced his family back to WILLIAM (A)TRILL/(TRELL) - who was buried in 1700 at Brading on the Isle of Wight. You can open his MS Word file HERE. His early records are from Brading. Later from St Helens and Brightstone.

My thanks also to David Lynch of Penrith,  NSW who has supplied his Attrill ancestry. This goes back to Isaac Attrill, born 1802 on the Isle of Wight. Isaac and his wife Bethia (Chessman) were married in Jersey in the Channel islands in 1825. Their son James (b.1827 in Jersey) emigrated to Australia in 1864 on the 'Golden Land'  - their daughter Leuwina being born at sea.  This family tree is HERE.
