A Frizzle cockerel

These are the friendliest little Bantams - very tame and good with children and ideal for a small 
back garden. We only keep ours in arks so we can maintain breeding integrity 
( as we have many other free range chickens of different breeds)




We are a DEFRA registered egg producer and have had an excellent fertility rate with these chickens, 
however, we cannot guarantee hatching after the eggs have been through the postal system. Eggs
can also be collected in person from our farm in West Wales . 

Eggs will be unwashed (important to maintain viability) and sent in polystyrene boxes. We suggest that you allow the eggs to settle for 24 hours before incubation 

Our Frizzle and smooth Bantams are in several breeding groups so that Frizzle birds are only bred with 
smooth feather birds. It is not recommended to breed a bird with the heterozygous frizzle gene 
with another bearing this gene) The eggs will produce a mixture of Frizzle and smooth chicks.

Statistically, there should be about 35% of the chicks with the Frizzle gene - although
this will vary from batch to batch as we will not know which hen laid the eggs - or
even which cockerel is the father (there are 4 cockerels in one pen and 2 in another).
